Visit SiteZPHCA believe that the children with disabilities they support have the same needs as all children: love, care, compassion, encouragement and full inclusion in family and society. Since their inception, the Harare Province has been actively involved in advocacy and lobbying for the rights of children with disabilities, and the rights of women in the areas of health, education and housing.
ZPHCA have four main objectives that they believe will help children with disabilities now:
- Providing a forum of exchange of information, experiences and advice in the area of various disabilities to parents.
- Lobbying and advocating for legislative policies and services that affect children with disabilities and their welfare and promote the human rights of children living with disabilities.
- Provision of quality and appropriate health and rehabilitation services to children living with disabilities.
- Lobbying and advocating for women’s land and property rights as an integral part to care for children living with disabilities.
