Introducing ‘Momentum’ a new series of talks on different aspects of our work and issues that affect children with disabilities in Africa.

Join us for the third live event in our Momentum series.

This event will explore the ways in which inclusive sports in programming can improve the levels of inclusion children with disabilities experience. The panel will go on to look at how inclusive sports are breaking down barriers in society and helping children to gain the skills for inclusive education and beyond.

We will hear how Able Child Africa’s partner in Kenya and other experts in the international development sector are working to ensure that there is inclusion in sports for children with disabilities in inclusive education.

We are pleased to announce that chairing the event will be our Paralympian Patron Ellie Robinson MBE. The event will feature four panellists including Susan Masila, Manager of Global Development for Special Olympics Africa. Also joining her will be Jane Adhiambo Ndenga, Paralympian and Sports Coach at our partner organisation Action Network for the Disabled (ANDY).

This event will be taking place on a bespoke site in partnership with Kujenga on the 18th of January at 1:00 pm.
