Friends of AbleChildAfrica are individuals who contribute to the success of our work, and the work of our overseas partners, through regular financial contributions. Your donations are vital to ensuring the sustainability and growth of the charity and allow us to support our partners in flexible and tailored ways.  In addition to the satisfaction that comes with supporting our work, we will also give something back.

Supporter Level

‘Supporters of AbleChildAfrica’ commit to giving a minimum of £120 a year in support of our work. In recognition of this support Supporter level Friends of AbleChildAfrica will receive:

Welcome Gift: a thank you card and a small token of our appreciation.
Events: invitations to regular events, priority access to places at challenge events such as the London Marathon and unique opportunities to engage with our work.
Public Acknowledgement of your Contribution: your name will be printed in our annual report (optional)
Regular Communication:You will receive monthly e-newsletters, bespoke mailings and electronic copies of additional news, publications and reports. You can also choose to receive a hard copy of our Annual Report if you prefer.

Champion Level

‘Champions of AbleChildAfrica’ are individuals who commit to giving a minimum of £1,000 a year in support of our work. In recognition of this support Champion level Friends are entitled to:

Welcome Gift: a personal thank you card and an AbleChildAfrica T-Shirt.
Events: invitations to AbleChildAfrica’s regular events and priority access to challenge events as well as bespoke events and opportunities.
Public Acknowledgement of your contribution: your name will be printed on our website & in our Annual Report (optional)
Regular Communication: You will receive monthly e-newsletters, bespoke mailings, electronic copies of publications & reports and a hard copy of our Annual Report. You will also receive an annual phone call to update you about our work and to answer any questions you may have.

Ambassador Level

‘Ambassadors of AbleChildAfrica’ are major donors who give a minimum of £5,000 a year in support of our work. In recognition of this support Ambassadors level friends are entitled to

Welcome Gift: a personal handwritten thank you and a personalised one of a kind gift.
Events: invitations to bespoke Ambassador level events and to our Annual Gala Dinner.  You will also be offered the first chance to purchase tickets to regular events or to participate in challenge events and unique opportunities. r
Partner Visits: you will have the exclusive opportunity to visit our partners in Africa and see the excellent work they are doing first hand.  visit our partners in Africa and see the excellent work they are doing first hand.  You may wish to visit a project you have supported directly or an area in need of additional support. (Note: visits will typically be at your own expense).
Public Acknowledgement of your contribution: your name and biography will be published on our website and your name will be printed as a major donor in our annual report (optional).
Regular Communication: As an Ambassador level friend we make a sincere commitment to regular and personal communication with you.  In addition to monthly e-newsletters, bespoke mailings, a hard copy of  publications and our Annual Report you will also be appointed a personal contact within the AbleChildAfrica team and encouraged to maintain communication with them as often as you like.  You will receive a quarterly phone call to update you about our work and to answer any questions you may have.

To become a Friend at any level, all you need to do is commit to a minimum annual donation and you will automatically join at the level appropriate to your donation. Please note this is an annual amount and can be given in a one-off donation or through regular standing orders totalling the same amount.  Making your donation will automatically enrol you as a Friend of AbleChildAfrica and you will receive a welcome package in the post.  This will include a form for you to complete allowing you to opt in or out of various communications as per your personal preferences.
